STEPHANIE HUDSON
MANAGING DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDER
After almost a decade of self-publishing since her first book 'Afterlife', Stephanie was very much aware of the trials and tribulations of being an Indie Author. Following continued success which has seen Stephanie sell her books to an ever-growing fan base all over the world, she wanted to use her experience to create a team that would help other budding authors strive towards their goals. In 2019 this led Stephanie and her husband Blake to create Hudson Indie Ink Publishing.
BLAKE HUDSON
MANAGING DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDER
Blake is the co-founder and Managing Director of Hudson Indie Ink, in addition to heading up the Advertising Team. Specialising in Social Media adverts, Blake has had great success in helping our authors gain exposure to new fans in a competitive marketplace. Blake has also found success with his own writing, with the release of several best-selling novels.
CLAIRE BOYLE
OFFICE MANAGER/PA
With over 14 years experience in managing 80+ members of staff at the Foreign Exchange Bureau in Manchester airport, followed by 9 years of Administration at one of the UK's largest investment banks, Claire has a wealth of knowledge in fast-paced business environments. Claire runs our Headquarters in Altrincham, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the team and authors. Claire also manages the FFB events and Merchandise division and is head PA to author Stephanie Hudson.
Kathy Cini
OFFICE MANAGER AND AUTHOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
Kathy is already working with the team and is well known to everyone as part of the FFB team at our events. With over 24 years' experience as a senior manager within the NHS across Primary Care and Emergency Medicine within operations Kathy will be a fantastic full-time addition to the team from July 2024. Working as the new Author Account Manager and supporting Claire with general management Kathy will use her organisational and planning skills to support the team and build on the business as a whole.
Lily Bennett
FORMATTING & ADMIN
No stranger to the author world, Lil carries out the formatting for the majority of our authors, a vital role in the post-production of a new book. With Lily's attention to detail and due diligence, she ensures that our authors' work is showcased in the best possible way.
CAROLINE FAIRBAIRN
DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR
Caroline is a successful illustrator and artist, who has worked in the industry for many years. Specialising in Children's and Young Adult books, Caroline helps to bring stories to life with her character depictions and other visual imagery. Caroline has also recently joined the Graphic Design Department and works with Senior Graphic Designer Jo Armitage on new projects.
SARAH GOODMAN
EDITOR
Sarah works in our Editorial Department, offering a wide variety of editing services to our authors. As an avid reader, Sarah is able to immerse herself into the stories, ensuring they are edited to a high quality and showcasing the author's talents. Sarah also assists with our social media, and being an amateur actress regularly does chapter reads for our Hudson Indie Ink audience.
Jo Armitage
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Jo is our wonderful graphic designer and brings a wealth of creativity and spark to Hudson Indie Ink. Her captivating art work and forward-thinking approach come from years of experience in the design world. As a writer herself, Jo also understands the needs and requirements of our authors, enabling her to picture their characters and bring them to life.
ELLIE BOYLE
MERCHANDISE, SOCIAL MEDIA AND EVENTS
Ellie has been working part time with the team and for Stephanie Hudson for a while. She is now running the merchandise side of Hudson Indie Ink and the FFB events. She works very closely with Amber Brooks on our social media and is an integral part of the FFB event team.
